Human Resources Directorate
The Human Resources Directorate provides a fully comprehensive HR service to the Hospital. Our model of HR service is one that is flexible, sustainable and responsive to the changing needs of the organisation and environment. The Directorate is made up of individuals with wide-ranging experience, strengths and skills and is led by a professional Management Team.
The work of the HR Department covers four key areas:
HR Business Management
We provide a range of services including Employee Relations, Change Management, Service and Workforce reconfiguration, Absence Management, the development of employment Policies and Procedures, and the promotion of Equality and Diversity.
Recruitment
The Recruitment Division is responsible for co-ordinating the Recruitment & Selection of all Staff for the Hospital. Our aim is to attract and retain talented individuals to provide world class healthcare services to the community we serve.

Records & Benefits
The Records & Benefits Division is responsible for salary and leave administration together with the maintenance of individual employee files and records. In addition, the Superannuation/Pensions section is responsible for the administration of the Voluntary Hospital Superannuation Scheme, and provides a comprehensive advisory service for existing and retired employees.
Learning & Development
We provide a wide range of training courses within the framework of personal development planning to meet the learning needs of individuals and teams. We also provide advice and guidance to employees in relation to their career development.
