Mission Statement

We aim to provide an occupational Therapy service for the patients of AMNCH and their carers, to enable them to live better with illness or disability by promoting their overall health through participation in everyday activities.


Who can benefit from Occupational Therapy?

You may benefit from Occupational Therapy if you have a medical condition that makes it hard for you to carry out daily activities.


Referral Procedure

Occupational Therapy department in AMNCH accept referrals for patients who are currently under the care of a consultant in the hospital.

We do not accept referrals directly form General Practitioners. If you are not under the care of a consultant and would like to access Occupational therapy services, contact your local health centre or your General Practitioners and ask about Community Occupational Therapy services. In addition there is not Paediatric Occupational Therapy Service in AMNCH.
