Tallaght Hospital was delighted to be a finalist in one of the Cleaning and Hygiene Industry’s most prestigious awards, the Golden Service Awards. The awards, recognised internationally, acknowledge high standards of excellence in the Cleaning and Hygiene Industry. This years awards ceremony was held in the Lancaster London Hotel on the 4th of November.
Speaking about the nomination Mick Dunne, Manager of the Hygiene Services Department in Tallaght Hospital said, ‘Healthcare facilities and hospitals require unique and specialist cleaning in order to maintain the health and safety of their environments. We are proud that all the hard work our cleaning team and our cleaning contractor, Momentum Support do to maintain the highest possible standards of hygiene was once again recognised.’
To be a finalist in the awards is a significant achievement. Tallaght Hopital are very proud of the recognition from the industry of the high standards of hygiene and cleanliness it continues to maintain.
This nomination follows two awards received in 2010 by Tallaght Hospital and Momentum Support at the Irish Contract Cleaning Association Awards. They won awards in the best service provider category and the best training category.
