Tallaght Hospital recieves 'The Bronze Award' Certificate for being a Breastfeeding Supportive Workplace.

The Tallaght Hospital Breastfeeding Committee was set up in 2002 and ever since has worked tirelessly to produce the extensive Tallaght Hospital breastfeeding policy documents in 2009 and continue to meet, on a quarterly basis, to work on breastfeeding initiatives here in the Hospital. This award recognises all the hard work and the dedication of the Committee.

The Committe includes representatives from national Breastfeeding Groups such as La Leche League, CUIDIU and, more recently, Friends of Breastfeeding. The certificate will be put on display in the main atrium of the Hospital.
